Privacy Policy

The short version

HeadSense collects no data. Not "minimal data", not "anonymised data": none. Your headache history stays on your iPhone. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no way for anyone to see what you record.

What HeadSense stores, and where

Everything you enter, headaches, intensities, locations, triggers, medications and notes, is stored in a database on your device. Your reports are computed there too, from that same data.

Your reports

Weekly and monthly reports are arithmetic performed on your phone: counts, frequencies, and comparisons over what you logged. Nothing is sent anywhere to produce them, and no model or service is involved.

What we never do

• No account, no sign-in, no email address.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics or crash-reporting services.
• No third-party SDKs that phone home.
• No selling or sharing of anything, because nothing ever reaches us.

Notifications

If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled by iOS on your device. Nothing about them leaves the phone.

Exporting your data

You can export your history at any time, to keep it or take it to a doctor. Where that file then goes is entirely your choice.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything. There is no copy anywhere else to ask us about.

Children

HeadSense is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone.

Not medical advice

HeadSense is a personal tracking tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything, and nothing it shows you is medical advice.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the effective date above changes with it.
